DailyKenn.com — William Wood, 39, was found in the street with multiple gunshot wounds, authorities said. "Wood had been bowhunting when he walked out and found his truck being burglarized. Baker is accused of shooting Wood and stealing his black Smith & Wesson," according to wapt.com.
15-year-old Sha’Maya Anderson was a random victim who was fatally shot 12 days earlier at a different location.
Both were killed in Jackson, Mississippi.
Arrested for the incidents was fifteen-year-old Montravious Baker. He is charged in a string of robberies and carjackings as well as a suspect in the two murders, according to Jackson police.
Tyrese Hodges, 22 was arrested with Baker at an apartment. Hodges confessed to his involvement in the armed robberies and carjackings, Police public information Officer Sam Brown said. [source]
All are identified as black except for Wood, who was white.
