DailyKenn.com — Harriet Mahaffey, 65, was fatally shot in her Heath Springs, SC home.
Lloyd Caldwell Jr., 23, was arrested.
The sheriff said the victim, who lived alone, "sat defenseless in her home" when she was killed.
Caldwell reportedly stole the victim's jeep.
