Jason Volz, 54, killed in East Harlem, New York

DailyKenn.com — Jason Volz, 54, died after being pushed in front of an oncoming train in New York City's East Harlem neighborhood. 

Carlton McPherson, 24, was arrested. 

Reports say the attack was unprovoked and offered no motive. The media did not say Volz was attacked because he was white. 

The victim's family described him as “compassionate” and “generous to a fault." [source]

The accused killer's family said he suffers from bipolar disorder. Law enforcement sources claim he has eight arrests on his rap sheet, four of them since sealed.
