DailyKenn.com — 19-year-old Brooke Devinney was beaten to death in Columbus, OH.
23-year-old Devon Blair was arrested.
Devinney died at a local hospital. She was pregnant at the time.
ABC 6 investigated Blair's background and discovered that Devinney had called the police on him just days earlier.
"Before today's incident, he had two warrants for domestic violence involving Miss Devinney," Columbus Police Sgt. Joe Albert said on Sunday. "He has proven to be a very dangerous individual whom we unfortunately couldn't remove from the streets before he took someone's life."
ABC 6 also found that Devinney had filed a report against Blair in December after he allegedly threatened to kill her.
Records show that just last week, Devinney approached an officer to report Blair again. These records also indicate that Devinney once told officers that Blair had stabbed her.
