Born Erika Lane Frantzve on November 20, 1988, in Ohio, she grew up in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona. Raised in a Catholic family that emphasized service, independence, and community – especially with her entrepreneur mom stepping up big after her parents' divorce. That foundation of faith, hard work, and giving back? It's at the core of who she is today.
Number 3: She Was a Total Athlete and Leader as a Kid
From a young age, Erica was crushing it! She excelled in basketball and volleyball, attended the awesome Notre Dame Preparatory School, and at just 18 years old, she founded her own nonprofit called Everyday Heroes Like You to highlight people doing great charitable work. Leadership mode activated early – love that energy!
Number 4: Her Education Blends Politics, Law, and Biblical Studies
Super impressive creds here: She played NCAA Division II basketball at Regis University, then headed to Arizona State University for her bachelor's in political science and international relations. Number 5: She Was Crowned Miss Arizona USA
Yes, girl power! In 2012, Erica won Miss Arizona USA. She saw pageantry as more than glamour – it was a platform for philanthropy, personal growth, and speaking out on causes she cared about. Number 6: She's an Entrepreneur with a Heart for Faith
