26 black-on-white and 7 white-on-black
homicide reports for August 2025
In a popular TV crime drama, a brief scene featured a Black male actor lamenting white racism, with a female character posing as a police officer responding sympathetically. I left the room in frustration.
My wife objected, noting the scene was short and that she enjoys the show.
This is how the "progressive" left subtly shapes our perspectives—through small, repeated doses of multicultural ideology woven into entertainment. It’s like a slow drip of poison in our drinks.
The antidote lies in reality. Regular exposure to unfiltered data, like monthly reports comparing Black-on-White and White-on-Black homicides, serves as a powerful counter to the toxic narratives embedded in TV, ads, and censored social media.
Iris Feliciano-Hernandez, 30, dies in crash
Suspect clocked at 70 mph, but it wasn't the Interstate
It hits close to home. Almost two years ago, on a night much like this, I was assaulted by a teenage girl who threw a block of wood at my head, leaving me hospitalized. She was arrested and briefly jailed but was released on bond. Just days later, she was caught driving recklessly at approximately 70 mph through town. The judge issued a stern warning, charged her with two felonies, and ordered her to wear an ankle monitor.

Individuals with psychopathic tendencies often exhibit a blatant disregard for laws and societal norms. Take, for instance, 20-year-old Tremayne A. Brown from Milwaukee, who was reportedly driving at an excessive 70 mph through downtown streets—well above the speed limit—while also having been cited multiple times, specifically on March 27, March 31, and April 4, 2025, for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
Authorities hold Tremayne A. Brown's reckless driving responsible for the tragic death of 30-year-old Iris Feliciano-Hernandez after he broadsided the vehicle in which she was a passenger that night. The devastating crash occurred on June 7, 2025.
Brown gets a day in court. Iris gets a funeral. I get to write about it.

Mason Henry Doran, 26, fatally shot in Syracuse, New York
A twisted sense of social justice
Mason Henry Doran, a 26-year-old resident of Liverpool, New York, was tragically killed on April 23, 2025, suffering multiple gunshot wounds to his midsection.
A suspect, 39-year-old Mikel Hackett, was subsequently arrested and charged with second-degree murder and weapons offenses related to Doran’s death.
The hivemind of the intolerant left, critics argue, fosters a harmful narrative by vilifying white males, falsely framing murder as a form of social justice.

Iryna Zarutska, 23, fatally stabbed in Charlotte, North Carolina
Why Iryna's life matters
It’s a tale of two cities. Both are named Charlotte. One is in Virginia; the other North Carolina.
The death of Heather Heyer, a 32-year-old woman, drew global attention when she was killed in Charlottesville, Virginia, on Aug. 12, 2017. James Alex Fields Jr., then 20, was charged with deliberately driving his car into a group of largely peaceful counter-protesters following the Unite the Right rally.
Iryna Zarutska, a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee, went largely unnoticed when she was fatally stabbed on a Lynx Blue Line train in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Aug. 22, 2025. Recently arrived in the United States, she was simply commuting, unaware of the risks that can accompany late-night travel in an unfamiliar American city.
Authorities identified Decarlos Brown Jr., 34, as the suspect.
David Labrecque, 65, killed during Hartford, Vermont home invasion
There are ways to defend yourself
Of course, you wouldn’t open the door to a masked man brandishing a firearm.
But what if the man knocking represented a class of people responsible for about half of all homicides in the USA, even though they comprise about 14 percent of the population?
You may want to keep the door closed.
Also, consider installing security cameras in obvious places. A well-secured door is a given. One made of steel is even better.
The sound of a German Shepherd is another deterrent that works well to discourage home invaders.
We don’t know how many precautions were taken by 65-year-old David Labrecque when he was fatally shot in his home in August 2025.
Demetrius Drew, 30, of New Haven, Connecticut, faces first-degree murder charges.

The 28-year-old was loading groceries into his Hyundai Elantra around 1:40 p.m.
Is the Giant Eagle supermarket the wrong place? Is the early afternoon the wrong time?
It seems to me that the victim was not in the wrong but, rather, right where he should be; in Cincinnati, USA—a community built by his forefathers in a nation built by its founders and their progeny.
Kappenhagen was shot dead by a carjacker.
Police recovered the vehicle with two nondescript males inside. Those two males, it seems, were truly in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Stephanie Keeling, 48, fatally shot in Kentucky home invasion
Impaired executive function?
Executive function refers to a set of cognitive skills in a healthy brain that enable us to make well-considered decisions. It helps us communicate in ways that are not offensive and engage in socially appropriate behaviors.
Some individuals exhibit impaired executive function, which can lead to poor decision-making. In extreme cases, this may result in reckless behaviors, such as breaking into homes or even committing violent acts like murder, with little to no consideration of consequences, such as long-term imprisonment. Others may show limited executive function by associating with violent criminals, reflecting a lack of judgment in their social choices.
The latter seems to be the case of two white women who were arrested in association with a home break-in and murder in Kentucky. Two white females, Faith Singer, 21, and Allison Lyvers, 18, were charged with complicity to murder and first-degree robbery.
Two black males were arrested. Joshua Spalding-Wells, 36, and Tyler Gunn, 32, were arrested in connection with the murder of 48-year-old Stephanie Keeling during a robbery at her home in Marion County, Kentucky. Gunn is believed to have fatally shot Keeling.
